What is ASOSU, And What We Do

ASOSU is every student at Oregon State University.  We exist as an organization to promote academic excellence, encourage the intellectual, social, cultural, and physical development of the student body, and enable the student body to assert its varied interests as citizens and members of the academic community through democratic representation.

What is new?

The Dear OSU event is an opportuity for students to voice their opinion on Oregon State University. Come share your issues and concerns and give constructive feed back on how we as a community can resolve them. This is an important event and in the past it has proven to be quite effective. You may also sumbit a posting through our online webform at anytime by clicking on the ad.

In the past, OSU decision makers have referenced the “Gripe Fest Report” countless times for specific information about student opinions on various campus issues. Several successful changes have been implemented at Oregon State as a result of the Gripe Fest. These include, but are not limited to, the 24/5 library, Mandatory Electronic Student-Teacher Evaluations, a precursor to the HSRC MealBux Plan, and more.
