ASOSU Subsidies
ASOSU offers several subsidies to students for both short-term and long-term assistance. The Graduate Conference Registration Subsidy for Grad Students, the Childcare Subsidy for student parents, the Healthcare Subsidy for students on the Student Health Services healthcare plan, and the Meal Bux Program for all students, each provide funding by the term to give students the upper-hand to maintain a quality educational atmosphere while attending OSU.

The Graduate Conference Registration Subsidy is available for Graduate students to help further their academic experience outside of the OSU classroom or lab. ASOSU can provide up to $150 per student each fiscal year (July-June). Application can be made either before or after the conference, however proof of attendance is required after attending. Students must also fill out the OSU Reimbursement Request form, located below.

The ASOSU childcare subsidy can pay for up to 50% of your total
childcare cost to any licensed childcare provider. The subsidy is need
based, and all those who qualify will receive funding. You must reapply every term; incomplete applications will not be accepted.

Health insurance can be an incredible expense, especially for students to pay for on their own. That is why the ASOSU has set aside funding to help qualifying students pay for a part of their student health insurance premium. The Student Health Insurance Subsidy is specifically for students on the OSU Student Health Plan with Aetna/Chickering through Student Health Services.
