What is Student Legal Services?
Student Legal Services is one of the services offered by the ASOSU for the OSU students of the Corvallis campus. Legal Services are provided to OSU students through Access the Law, and paid for through the Corvallis campus student incidental fees. Our office provides legal advice and representation to OSU students when they have a dispute that does not pertain to the University.
Areas of Assistance
Student Legal Services provides legal advice and representation to OSU Students when the other party to the dispute is not a part of the University or one of its administrative units. Whether your specific area of assistance is listed, all students are encouraged to contact the Student Legal Services office if they have a legal conflict or question. If our attorneys cannot assist, they may be able to provide referrals to additional resources.

Notary Services
Our office offers free notary services to OSU Corvallis students. A notary can verify signatures and certify documents for official use. An attorney may wish to speak with you before we notarize any document.
Notary hours are the same as our reception hours. However, we do request that you contact our office in advance to confirm availability of our notary.
Costs & Fees
This office is supported by student fees and its services are free of charge to all eligible OSU Corvallis campus students. However, any costs incurred outside the office (filing fees, service fees, postage and copying costs) are the responsibility of the student.

This is a law office. As such, student/client confidentiality and privilege is strictly protected and upheld. Communications shared with our staff and attorneys are protected and confidential. Your confidence and comfort is of the utmost importance to us!
